Named in 2007 by Cincinnati Magazine as one of the 40 most-influential people who ‘shaped our City’ over the past 40 years, Christine’s involvement in the renaissance of Cincinnati’s downtown and surrounding neighborhoods of Prospect Hill & Over-the-Rhine have become legendary. As she tirelessly focuses on the development of quality housing for those of every economic level, Downtown has become her hallmark.

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Christine has made Cincinnati her home since 1974. With her bachelors’ degree from St Martin’s College in Olympia and her Masters degree from Manhattan College in New York City, she took her special education teaching skills and moved into a new role as a relocation specialist. For the past 30 years Christine has helped moved families in and out of Greater Cincinnati, assisting them with all there new needs whether it be schools, doctors, groceries or where to groom your pet!

In December 2009 Christine and business partner, George Verkamp, joined Sibcy Cline Realtors, the largest family-owned real estate company in the entire area. She and Rob Sibcy have opened a new office in the heart of Downtown, giving easier access to the clients she serves. Christine feels that being close to the Ohio riverbanks, the new Queen City Square and the international headquarters of Proctor & Gamble is the best location to serve the new growth of our Downtown.

Park Place at Lytle, the most successful development in the City of Cincinnati to date, houses 114 condos and is home for Christine and George. They love living on Lytle Park and being able to walk to all parts of Downtown and Northern Kentucky. Having worked with Miller Valentine on this project, they feel a sense of pride when they show off their personal residence.

Christine has also represented developers Urban Sites, City Lights, Reese Campbell, Central Park Developers, City Lofts, Camargo Homes, Middle Earth Developers & JFP Properties.

Christine currently serves as a trustee on the Mercantile Library board, the Keep Cincinnati Beautiful board & the Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati board. She served as President of the AFC board from 2007 – 2009. She was also on the OTR Chamber of Commerce Board for over 10 years and the YWCA Board for 6 years. She and George have been named the Honorary Chairs for the 2010 Alzheimer event in May – “Making Memories”. They both feel that community involvement is crucial to a meaningful life and to the health of our great region.

When you are around her you can feel that Christine’s heart is in Cincinnati and that she strives to continue the momentum of growth within the City neighborhoods. Whether it’s to assist a budding developer with his dreams or to find a million-dollar residence for a Downtown executive, she puts her whole self into her clients’ needs and their goals.
